Mapping & Modeling
The goal of the GPRS Deliverables Department is to deliver clear and understandable findings with each of our outputs from field markings to field sketches, KMZ files, or CAD drawings that provide 2D site plans or even 3D CAD models. In addition, upon the completion of every project, our customers receive a job summary that includes job scope information, site photos, description of site conditions, equipment used, and notes from the project.

GPRS Project Managers were recently contacted in the Chicagoland area for concrete scanning at a large facility looking to add additional overhead cranes. The engineers were not sure if the existing walls could carry to load of the newly proposed cranes. Throughout the construction of the building, there have been many changeovers.

A contractor investigating the possible contamination of the soil and water at a local gas station in Schaumburg, IL contacted Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Illinois for surface scanning. The contractor hoped to find valuable information about the locations of any conduit in the parking lot in order to perform soil borings.
